Highway safety programs in the Mountain State have received a boost from the federal government.
The National Highway Safety Administration awarded more than $850,000 to the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
The grant will be used to improve driver behavior and performance and to reduce deaths and injuries from car accidents.
