A Kanawha County man was taken to jail after deputies said he called 911 because he wanted something to eat.
Darrell Alfred Brown, 54, of London called 911 Saturday evening and said he had swallowed anti-freeze, deputies said.
Deputies said when medics and law enforcement arrived, Brown admitted he had not swallowed anti-freeze and said he just wanted to go to CARES for a meal. Deputies said Brown had alcohol in his system, but no anti-freeze.
Sgt. J.H. Thaxton charged Brown with making a false report of an emergency. Brown was booked in the South Central Regional Jail.
