A man was arrested on an arson charge after authorities said he admitted to setting an apartment building on fire in Davis Creek Tuesday morning.
Nicholas Hatfield was arrested by State Police and West Virginia fire marshals for allegedly setting the fire that started in an office inside the building. The blaze occurred at an apartment building on Amanita Drive.
Investigators said Hatfield told them he started the fire because he was having problems with a
girlfriend.

State Police were at the scene of the fire. Investigators said there was a possible crime scene at the location.
