Police are searching for a man who led them on a high speed chase through two cities and then jumped out of his car and took off.
Officers tried to pull the driver over for a routine traffic stop on I-64 near the Montrose Exit around 9:30pm Monday. We are told the driver wouldn't stop and eventually got off of the Dunbar Exit. He then continued to drive to the Hampton Lane area, where he jumped out of the car and took off.
Police are using canine officers to try to track the suspect.
We have a crew on the scene. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News for the latest information.
