One woman was taken back to jail hours after she was released, when deputies said they caught her driving with a mobile meth lab in Athens County over the weekend.
Ashley Jude, 25, was arrested on Myers Street in Nelsonville after a dog used in narcotics searches smelled drugs inside her car, Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly said. Once deputies searched the vehicle, they discovered a glass tube containing a syringe and two plastic baggies of methamphetamine, Kelly said.
Jude had just been released from the Fairfield County Jail a couple of hours before she was pulled over. She remains in the South East Ohio Regional Jail.
