A domestic disturbance that started in a store parking lot turned into a drug bust, landing a man behind bars.
According to court documents, South Charleston police officers got a call about a couple fighting near a vehicle in the parking lot of the Target store.
Officers found the vehicle unoccupied in the parking lot of Walmart and waited for the owners to return. They say Evan Hager walked up to the vehicle and they saw what appeared to be pill bottles in the back pockets of his jeans.
Officers say Hager let them search him and they found over two dozen hydrocodone pills.
Hager is charged with possession with intent to deliver. He is currently in the South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
