Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Cross Lanes wants to hire 60 new positions to correspond with the opening of the resort’s buffet early next year.
The resort will be holding a career fair 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to hire various casino and food and beverage positions, according to a news release from the resort.
"Our great team members are the ones who continue to make Mardi Gras Casino & Resort such a great environment for each and every guest," General Manager Robert Lagg said. "Our staff is known for their welcoming and engaging personalities, and they take pride in creating a winning experience for each guest who walks through the casino doors. We look forward to adding more staff to help us continue to create this environment for our guests."
The career fair will be held on the lower level of the casino at the resort. Qualified applicants will have an opportunity to participate in the interview, screening and drug testing process with the human resources staff.
