State fire marshals say they consider the cause of a residential fire in which a woman died in Raleigh County to be suspicious.
It happened in the Sprague area, officials with the West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office and dispatchers said.
Eyewitness News has learned that a man and children who lived there made it out unharmed.
Firefighters from Beaver, Beckley and Mabscott responded to the scene.
The victim's name has not been released. No details have been released in regards to what started the fire, but Deputy State Fire Marshal Reed Cook says the fire is suspicious.
