One woman died while traveling on I-77 in Kanawha County Sunday.
Angela Sharps, 24, of Julian in Boone County was driving on I-77 just north of Eden's Fork Exit about 6 p.m. when deputies said she lost control of her Suzuki coupe, landing in the median.
Sharps was thrown from the vehicle, according to a release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. She died at the scene. That crash remains under investigation.
