Hundreds of thousands hit the stores for Black Friday -- the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. But with that, comes a reminder to play it safe.
Officers have stepped up police presence in major shopping areas such as Corridor 'G' in South Charleston.
With the holiday shopping season far from over, police are reminding shoppers to use common sense, and are asking people to mainly pay attention to whats around them, and if you put presents in your car while shopping, leave them out of sight.
