A Charleston man faces malicious wounding charges after he allegedly ran over his wife with a heavy-duty pickup truck during a domestic argument.
Court documents said Estill Forest Jones, 30, allegedly drove off with his wife, Sarah Rubincan, standing on the running boards trying to talk him out of leaving their Hampton Road residence Saturday. The woman fell off when the truck turned on Sweetbrier Road after he allegedly rolled the window up she had been holding on to earlier, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The back wheels of the truck injured her back and broke her pelvis and leg.
Police were not able to interview the victim until Tuesday because of those injuries.
