A Wood County man is behind bars accused of robbing a Parkersburg bank.
Police say 56-year-old Norman Rattliff walked into the Community Bank on November 13th, pulled out a zipper case from inside his jacket, told the teller he had a gun and then told her to put all the money inside the case. Officers say Rattliff then took off with the cash.
Police arrested Rattliff at the Economy Inn on 7th Street on unrelated warrants and he was interviewed about the robbery. He was officially charged with robbery Tuesday.
Rattliff is currently in the North Central Regional Jail. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
