Police Say Drunk Driver Involved In Hit And Run In Kroger Parking Lot

A Cross Lanes man who was just released from jail Monday morning is back behind bars after he was arrested later that night.

State Police arrested 60-year-old Ronald Long, Jr., of Cross Lanes, for aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to a police report, Long's Cadillac hit another vehicle at the Kroger on Big Tyler Road Monday afternoon. Troopers caught him a few blocks away.

Long failed a field sobriety and a breathalyzer test.

Long is being held in the South Central Jail on a $10,000 bond.
