State Police have released the names of the man and woman found dead in a Mingo County home of an apparent murder-suicide.
Witnesses reported hearing William Browning, 45, and Teri Browning, 32, arguing before shots were fired at their Twelve Pole home Sunday night, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.
Troopers said the preliminary investigation indicates that William Browning shot Teri Browning and then shot himself.
Child Protective Services removed two juveniles from the home.
Two people died in an apparent murder-suicide in Mingo County over the weekend, State Police said.
One man and one woman were found dead from gunshot wounds about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Sgt. Damian Williamson of the West Virginia State Police said. The two victims were found at their home in the Breeden area.
The names and relationship of the victims are not being released yet.
