One Cabell County hospital has prohibited any use of tobacco inside or outside of its main facility and has banned tobacco near its medical centers countywide.
Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Marshall Health and the Edwards Comprehensive Center will no longer allow smoking inside or outside of the campus.
The hospital wanted the rule to coincide with the Great American Smokeout -- a national initiative from the American Cancer Society to encourage smokers to stop or make a plan to stop today.
Cabell-Huntington Hospital also offers smoking cessation courses.
