A cable television show will broadcast last summer's trial of a Charleston man convicting of causing the death of an 11-year-old boy who was hit by a car.
The West Virginia Supreme Court says Ethan Chic-Colbert's trial will be televised on the TruTV's "In Session" starting Thursday. The program will air from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Wednesday.
According to prosecutors, Colbert dragged Lynitrah Woodson out of a vehicle and beat her. Woodson's son, Jahlil Clements, was hit as he tried to flag down a passing vehicle on Interstate 77.
The 22-year-old Colbert was convicted of domestic battery, child neglect resulting in death and three counts of gross child neglect. He was sentenced to six to 30 years in prison.
