Police believe two recent home invasions in Huntington may be connected.
On Tuesday, a home in the 2500 block of 12th Avenue was broken into by three black men armed with guns while the homeowners were present. Wednesday night, three black men and a white man armed with guns invaded a home in Cabell Court.
Huntington Police Detective Rob Stinnett believe the two may be connected based on the similar description of the three black male suspects. In both accounts, the height, weight, and clothing description were similar.
Det. Stinnett said that the general public shouldn't worry as most home invasions aren't considered random.
