RED CROSS CEO New Regional CEO Hired For Red Cross In West Virginia

The deputy chief of staff for Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has been named as the regional chief executive officer of the American Red Cross in West Virginia.
Erica Mani assumes her new post Nov. 29, according to a news release from the Red Cross. As regional CEO, she will serve as the chief administrator for the American Red Cross for the state of West Virginia, leading a team of paid and volunteer staff.
"The Red Cross is always there for our communities in times of need and has such dedicated volunteers, donors and staff,” Mani said. “I am thrilled to be joining the Red Cross family and look forward to serving the people of the West Virginia Region in this new capacity."
Mani received her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law and her undergraduate degree in journalism from West Virginia University's Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism.
In addition to her work in the governor’s office, Mani also served the state in other capacities, including executive director for the Consolidated Public Retirement Board, deputy cabinet secretary and general counsel for the Department of Revenue and general counsel and deputy general counsel for the governor’s office.
Active in the West Virginia community, Mani also was the founding co-chair of Generation Charleston, Charleston Area Alliance and has participated in many community-related task forces and events.
