Thousands of Americans are signing petitions that would have certain states secede from the Union and West Virginia is one of them.
So far more than 4 thousand people have signed a petition supporting the Mountain State forming its own government.
This is going on all across the country with petitions filed on behalf of more than 30 states by people living in those states.
For the White House to address the petition, there needs to be at least 25 thousand signatures for a single petition within 30 days.
The state of Texas so far has garnered more than 70 thousand signatures and other states are not too far behind.
As of Tuesday evening, West Virginia's petition had 4, 358 signatures.
