A woman has been indicted in connection with a murder of a man in Ceredo in 2011. Sara Worstell, 21, was indicted on Friday for the murder of 22-year old Michael Meachem, Wayne County Prosecutor Thomas Plymale said. Worstell will be informed of her charge later this week during an arraignment in Wayne County Circuit Court. Meachem was found unresponsive in an apartment in Ceredo in November 2011. Police said they responded to the apartment after a report of a domestic disturbance and discovered Meachem. Prosecutors said they were waiting on the autopsy results before they could proceed with the murder charge. Meachem died from positional asphyxiation, which means he was suffocated, Plymale said. Worstell's trial is set for Feb. 25, 2013. We now know the name of the man found dead in Ceredo after an apparent fight with his girlfriend. Ceredo Police Chief Anthony Poston tells Eyewitness News that the body of 22-year old Michael Meachem was found at a home along Greenwood Drive on Sunday morning. The Chief says it appears that Meachem and his girlfriend were involved in some sort of altercation. Right now it is believed the victim died of suffocation. Meachem was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy. Investigators are treating Meachem's death as a homicide. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made. -------------------------------------- A Ceredo man is dead and now police are trying to find out what happened.
