Police said they discovered a meth lab, including a "one pot" lab in the process of cooking, in Scioto County, Ohio.
Police arrested Dustin Carver, 32, of Portsmouth on Wednesday. Detectives with the Drug Task Force received information about a meth lab at a home on Denver Street, according to a news release from Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini. Detectives said they searched the home and found chemicals and materials to make meth. While investigating, detectives discovered a "one pot" meth cook in the process, police said. Police said the suspect allegedly admitted to making meth.
Carver was charged with manufacturing meth within 100 feet of a juvenile and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for making meth. He is being held at the Scioto County Jail on a $175,000 bond.
