Boil water advisories have been issued for a number of communities in Raleigh and Lincoln counties.
A main line break in Surveyor has affected customers in Surveyor, Glen Daniel and Bolt, according to a news release from the Raleigh County Public Service District.
Meanwhile, a water problem at the Glen White Trap Hill Public Service District is affecting the following areas: Dameron, Arnet, Rock Creek, Dry Creek, Naoma, Horse Creek, Sundial, Edwight, Stickney, Montcoal, Birchton, Eunice, Pettus, Leevale, Jarrolds Valley, Sandy Bottom, Drews Creek and Peachtree, according to a news release from the Raleigh County Public Service District.
In Lincoln County, customers from the beginning of Cobbs Creek to Buckeye Fork were on a boil water advisory until further notice, according to a news release from the Lincoln Public Service District.
Customers were advised not to drink the water without boiling it first. Water should be brought to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing and food preparation until further notice.
