A former Marshall University professor has pleaded guilty to the attempted rape of a juvenile in Lawrence County, Ohio.
William Morrison of South Point, Ohio, pleaded guilty to attempted rape on Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court, the Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office said. Morrison was a math instructor at Marshall University.
Lawrence County Sheriff deputies responded to a report that a juvenile was allegedly raped at her home in August. Morrison had turned himself in to authorities.
