It's nearly "the most wonderful time of the year," and one Wayne County town is already making preparations to light its evergreens.
Kenova's annual Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place 7 p.m. Dec. 3, Mayor Ric Griffith said.
The program will begin at the Kenova United Methodist Church and will conclude at the corner of 14th and Chestnut streets.
