Republicans took three of four spots in the 35th District House of Delegates race in Kanawha County.
Democrat Doug Skaff was the top vote-getter of the group. Republicans Suzette Raines, Eric Nelson and John B. McCuskey followed behind him.
Longtime Democrats Bobbie Hatfield and Bonnie Brown were voted out of the House.
But this a race to keep an eye on because only 64 votes stood between McCuskey and Hatfield. There are more than 2,000 provisional ballots that still have to be counted next week. Overall, it was a historic outcome for the district that has now turned Republican.
