One elementary school decided to make a kind gesture toward a school devastated by a tornado.
Cox Landing Elementary in Cabell County collected more than 30 bean bag chairs and hand-delivered them to West Liberty Elementary in Kentucky. The school suffered severe damage during a tornado earlier this year.
The bean bag chairs will allow children to have a place to sit during reading time. It was a chance to see the storm damage firsthand and provide a good lesson in giving.
"If you give people things, it's great,” Cox Landing Elementary student Delany Stroud said. “As you get older, you realize it's better to give than to keep."
West Liberty Elementary has decided to "pay it forward" and do something nice for an elementary school that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy.
