If you live in certain areas of Fayette County, you may need to boil your water.
West Virginia American Water issued a boil water advisory Thursday for customers in the Dothan, Mossy, Gatewood Road and Garten areas who experienced low water pressure or no water.
The advisory follows generator maintenance activities which caused low water levels in three water storage tanks.
If you live in the affected areas, you should boil your water until further notice.
