If you live in Raleigh County, you may need to boil your water because of storm-related power outages.
A water problem happened at the Coal City Water Plant, according to a news release from the Raleigh County Public Service District, issued Thursday.
The affected areas include Sullivan, Abney, Coal City, Whitby, Jonben, Fireco, Princewick and Pemberton. The release adds that there is a high probability that the water in those areas is contaminated.
If you live in any of the affected areas, you should boil your water until further notice.
