Authorities are investigating to determine who may have stolen items from an evidence room at the police station in Ritchie County.
State Police at the detachment in Harrisville believe someone broke into the evidence room during the late hours on Tuesday, a news release from the State Police said. Some items were deemed stolen from the room after police did an inventory check. State Police are working with Ritchie County Prosecutor Judi McCullough on the investigation.
