West Virginia State Police and school officials have spent the past week reminding the public to be cautious around school buses.
Last week was national school bus safety week. State troopers were conducting stings to catch people who ignored school bus stop signs.
Fines for running school bus stop signs are hefty. The offense is a misdemeanor.
