A former employee is accused of embezzling money from Pizza Hut in Milton.
Angela C. Harrison, 37, of Milton was arrested on Wednesday and charged with embezzlement, according to a complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court. Harrison allegedly cashed two checks in the month of September that belonged to Pizza Hut that totaled $1,941.30.
Pizza Hut management became aware of the situation after Harrison reportedly didn't show up for work, and there were discrepancies with the bookkeeping, the documents said. Police said when they searched the suspect’s vehicle, they found a Pizza Hut deposit bag.
