A small fire was reported at the Armstrong Plant in the Millwood Industrial Park in Jackson County.
A small amount of molten metal spilled out of a furnace about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, causing several small fires at the the plant, firefighters said.
Intense heat from those fires caused electrical damage to the building. No one was injured. The part of the plant where the fires reportedly broke out, made ceiling tiles.
