Hundreds of railroad jobs in West Virginia are a thing of the past.
Norfolk Southern says it has laid off about 200 employees who were working in Bluefield and Roanoke, Virginia. A spokesperson for the company said the layoffs are due to decreased coal traffic.
The company has offered the affected employees jobs at other areas, all out of state.
