With colder weather on the way, Union Mission in Charleston has gathering coats for needy men, women and children and will be distributing them this weekend.
This year’s coat giveaway is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the mission, located at 700 South Park Road, according to a news release from the mission.
Last year, the Mission handed out more than 500 coats.
