A Cross Lanes man convicted of incest will spend at least the next 15 years in jail.
Kanawha Circuit Judge Duke Bloom on Thursday gave William Daniel Boggess, 35, a 10- to 20-year sentence and a five- to 15-year sentence to be served consecutively. Boggess is accused of having oral sex with an underage girl and taking pornographic pictures of her. The girl’s mother called police when she discovered nude photographs of her daughter on a camera memory stick.
Boggess must also register as a sex offender and remain under supervision for an additional 50 years. He initially faced 26 counts of incest, sexual assault, sexual abuse and child pornography.
