Police arrested a woman after they say she bought drugs in a parking lot while her child was asleep in the back seat of her vehicle.
Sandra L. Cline, 43, of Scott Depot was arrested by Huntington police on Monday, according to court documents. Police said they saw the suspect making a suspected drug transaction in a parking lot of a restaurant. When officers pulled the car over, they noticed a child sleeping in the back seat, the documents said. Police said the suspect was found to have cocaine in her possession that she claimed to of bought from the restaurant's parking lot.
Cline was charged with child neglect creating risk of injury and possession of a controlled substance.
