"A CHRISTMAS STORY" Charleston Theater Group Looking For Cast Members For "A Christmas Story"

If you or your children have expressed a desire to test your acting skills, Kanawha Players Theater might just have an opportunity for you. Auditions for “A Christmas Story” are scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Auditions and performances will take place at the theater at 309 Beauregard St. in Charleston, according to a news release from the theater group. Performance dates are 8 p.m. Nov. 29, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 and 2 p.m. Dec. 2.
For this production, the theater group is looking for two men, two women, five boys between the ages 9 and 14 and two girls between the ages of 9-14.
“A Christmas Story” was first published in the early 1970s as short stories about Jean Shepherd’s childhood in Indiana.
