Marshall University football fans will have to find another place to tailgate due to a construction project.
Students, faculty and staff also will have to change their parking habits when work begins on the $50 million Arthur Weisberg Family Applied Engineering Complex.
Beginning Friday, about 150 spaces on F Lots will be closed. The lots have been used by Marshall fans to tailgate for years.
Marshall athletics director Mike Hamrick said Monday that he believes fans will find another site in the vicinity of the stadium.
Also, during construction the first five rows of spaces on the general lot on the north side of Commerce Avenue will be used for staging.
Director of public safety James E. Terry says other parking is available, including a new garage on 6th Avenue.
