West Virginia University Athletic Director Oliver Luck has a new contract that keeps him on the job through June 2017 and raises his salary to $550,000 a year. It also sets an annual performance bonus cap of $150,000.
President Jim Clements says the new contract will go into effect Monday.
Luck is in the third year of his original five-year contract, which began in June 2010.
Clements calls Luck a true leader who has brought stability, momentum and energy to WVU.
Luck has overseen major capital improvements, hired new coaches and overseen the most successful fund-raising effort in history, with nearly $23 million raised this past year.
He's also overseen WVU's transition to the Big 12 conference and developed a master plan for facility upgrades.
