The capital city hosted dozens of cooks this weekend for the annual World Championship Chili Cookoff.
The chefs were busy whipping up batches of their famous chili in hopes of competing for the winning title.
Hundreds of hungry people came out to taste-test the recipes at Magic Island.
"I love it,” Clark McGee of California said. “The people are friendly. The weather has been pretty good. That's why we get a kick out of it – when people say they love it."
Andy Dennison won the Mr. Hot Sauce contest. He was presented with a fire extinguisher shaped trophy.
