A Florida couple was jailed after police said they robbed a hotel in Huntington.
Sarah J. Roseberry, 27, and Frank Evans Jr., 53, both of Citrus, Fla., were arrested Friday morning. Police responded to the Huntington Inn about 9 a.m. after a woman allegedly grabbed some money from the cash box at the front desk, Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas said.
A struggle ensued with the suspect and the hotel employee when the suspect and her getaway driver fled, McComas said. The suspects were caught a short time later.
Roseberry is charged with first-degree robbery. Evans is being charged with aiding and abetting, conspiracy to distribute narcotics and fleeing.
