One business in Cabell County is working to help out a vendor who lost everything in a house fire last week.
At the time a woodworker for A-Z Primitives in Milton dropped off a shipment to the store last week, he got the call that his house was on fire. He and his family lost everything.
The business is having a special sale this weekend and collecting donations for that family to help them get back on their feet. They will match whatever donations come in through Sunday.
"Since he makes our furniture he needs tools, so we're trying to get some tools together, and clothing, blankets, really anything we can to help them out," said Debi Toler with A-Z Primitives.
The store is located off I-64 in Milton, store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sunday.
