Tickets for a capital city Halloween celebration to be held later this month go on sale Friday.

The East End Main Street's annual HallowEast will take place Oct. 24 until Oct. 27.

The event lineup is as follows:

The Haunted Barn
Fridays 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. and Saturdays 7 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Open on the weekends now through November 3. (HallowEast edition October 26 and 27)

Corner of Lewis and Beauregard streets

Ten years ago, the Haunted Barn occupied four hallways and had 20 visitors in a night. Each year, the attraction has grown and now the Haunted Barn has a new home in an East End warehouse. Visit West Virginia’s largest haunted house on the corner of Lewis and Beauregard streets during HallowEast, and a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to East End Main Street. With 50 employees and 10,000 square feet of blood, guts and gore, the Haunted Barn will be a chilling experience you won’t soon forget.

Oct. 24
6 – 8 p.m.

Contemporary Galleries, 1210 Smith St.

This horror themed art show is back for its fourth year, featuring the works of nearly 30 local artists. Purchase a piece of artwork, and you’ll be directly contributing to the revitalization of the East End. All art sales are split evenly between the artist and East End Main Street. A reception will be held on Friday evening. There, you’ll get to talk with the artists, enjoy some adult beverages and listen to live music.

Oct. 25
6 p.m.

East End Main Street Murder Mystery Party featuring No Pants Players

The Woman’s Club of Charleston, 1600 Virginia St. E.

Local Improvisational Comedy Troupe No Pants Players return to HallowEast for another thrilling evening of murder and mayhem. Everyone is a suspect, so pay close attention from the moment you enter. Enjoy adult beverages and local cuisine as you attempt to solve the mystery. If your investigative skills are top-notch, we’ll enter your name into a drawing for some great prizes from East End businesses. Be sure to get your tickets early because they won’t last long. Last year’s murder mystery was standing room only.

ArtMares Show Continues
