The University of Charleston recently elected seven new members to serve on the University's Board of Trustees.
New members are: Jim Bunn II, a managing member of Coal River Energy; Kimberly Dickerson, managing director at Protiviti, a business risk and consulting firm; Karen Haddad, a University of Charleston alum who is a board member of the Charleston Urban Renewal Authority, Charleston Civic Center and Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority; Charles T. Jones, president and CEO of Amherst Madison; Bernie Layne, attorney at Mani Ellis & Layne, PLLC; Charles Patton, president and chief operating officer for Appalachian Power; and Thomas Reich, a graduate of Morris Harvey College and Marshall University and former owner of Underwriters Service Agency in Harford, Conn.
The University of Charleston is a private, independent college with about 1,400 students.
