Nicholas County sheriff's deputies have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a Go-Mart.
Thomas Christian Caufield, 29, of Richwood was arrested Wednesday in connection with the robbery that occurred Tuesday at the convenience store in Nettie, according to a news release from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department.
He was being held in the Central Regional Jail.

The robbery occurred just past midnight Tuesday at the Nettie Go-Mart, according to a news release from the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department. The suspect confronted the clerk with a gun and left with some cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a blue and white flannel jacket and hoodie, sun glasses, bandanna and dark pants. He is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 to 165 pounds.
Deputies said the suspect left the store and headed toward Route 20.
