A candle light vigil was held Sunday evening for the man killed along Rt. 60 in Jefferson.
Police say Donald Hugle was hit and killed by a Ford Focus Friday night after leaving Grumpy's Bar. Witnesses say he was crossing the road to go home when he was hit and killed.
More than a hundred people showed up to the vigil in front of Grumpy's Bar to remember Hugle. Pastor Charles Shelton said, "Donald was a good man and was there for everybody and he loved everybody."
The stretch of road where Hugle was killed is the same area where a woman was hit and killed by a hearse two weeks ago on Rt. 60. Many people at the vigil Sunday night say the State of West Virginia needs to invest in proper lighting in that area of Rt. 60 and install sidewalks.
