The Gallia County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an inmate at the Gallia County Jail.
Sheriff Joe Browning says 38-year-old William Mullins, Jr., of Gallipolis, was found hanging in a cell around 4:30am Saturday.
Mullins had been arrested around 2:30am on charges of domestic violence.
