Out with the old and in with the new. A local community in Kanawha County held an e-recycling event for electronics to be recycled Friday.
Dozens of people dropped off old electric appliances like batteries, cell phones, computers and flat screen televisions at the South Charleston Community Center.
Other items that were accepted for recycling included CDs, routers and speakers.
The e-recycling event was held from 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
