Kentucky State Police arrested a man who they say allegedly used a stun gun on his family, including a young child.
Buddy R. Moore, 38, of Louisa, was arrested by Kentucky State Police Post 14 in Ashland on Tuesday, according to a news release from troopers.
Troopers were investigating a complaint of abuse to a juvenile female. Police received reports that the suspect was using the taser on his spouse and children.
Moore is charged with criminal abuse in the first degree to a child 12 or under, assault in the second degree. Moore is being held at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
The case remains under investigation by Trooper Shane Copley.
