A local photographer is one of 30 finalists in a competition where a Hollywood Director and you - will choose the winners!
Debra Vickers of Big Chimney is entered into the Ron Howard competition called Project Imaginat1On with Cannon. Vickers says she has been interested in photography her entire life and has been a member of the Charleston Camera Club for the past four years.
Her photograph is in the Goal Theme of the contest and is called "Alli's Dreams."
The seven photos that have the highest number of votes in each theme will be winners. Ron Howard and Canon will then choose three other finalists' photos to become winners for a total of 10.
The final 10 winners in each theme will have their photos considered by Canon's celebrity directors during the making of their films.
Each winner will receive two tickets to the Project Imaginat1On premiere event and a $500 credit to Canon's online store.
You can vote once a day at www.imagination.usa.canon.com - find the tab that says photo gallery and click "finalists," you then have the option to "expand to vote" and vote for an individual photo. Voting for photographs in the Goal Theme continues until October 1.
